- Declutter your kitchen pantry. You want the buyers to feel that the space is big enough for all of their storage needs.
- Remove all items from the outside of the Refrigerator. Magnets, pictures, grocery list…all of these things need to go.
- If you have a hanging pot rack, take it down. Hanging pot racks are distracting, and make the kitchen seem smaller.
- Remove all but two small appliances from the counter tops. Pick two, possibly the coffee maker and the can opener.
- Fresh fruit and vegetables make great centerpieces in the kitchen. No shriveled apples or brown bananas. Remember lemons and limes are long lasting!
- Clean and bright is the main objective for your kitchen. Everything needs to be cleaned well. This includes cabinet fronts, floors, appliances, and trim work such as baseboards, doors, and door frames.
